I’d say it’s that time of the year for babies.  This isn’t entirely true however.  For me it was that time of the year, last year, for babies.  It seemed like everyone I know was pregnant or had just given birth.  The first baby boom of my twenties.  Since I don’t know what else to do with other people’s children, I got a sudden urge to dress them.  I did a few design trial runs, during which everyone convinced me people LOVE buying onesies.  [This was obviously the endeavor that was going to hurl me into big money.]  Even with all that excitement my fashion enterprise failed to start producing full swing.  I will blame it on my inability to screen print at home, but let’s be honest…there was a fair amount of laziness thrown in there too.  Luckily kids grow at a ridiculous rate during their first year, so now that I finally have something to offer, all those chubby little infants may as well be going to college as far as I am concerned.  Looks like I will just have to cross my fingers for a few happy accidents coming soon from the rest of my friends.  If an adorable, cheeky, bird onesie isn’t a good reason to procreate, then I just don’t know what is!  Check them out at Etsy…
